Teddy and the Victoria crew had a shooting on Sunday with the Travel Channel, for the show Bikinis and Boardwalks. For more information about the show visit the website BIKINIS AND BOARDWALK
This episode will show Teddy helping the host Megan to pick the right Skimboard for her here at the shop. Then they headed towards Aliso for a Skim lesson with our Champion. It will air sometime during Spring, so stay tuned!
We are so happy for Teddy to win a very challenging contest, on his birthday too!!! The Cabo Classico is a very hard contest, very competitive usually in great conditions!

The end of July saw two trips for Vic team riders; Portugal and the Outter Banks in North Carolina. Attending Portugal was Morgan Just, Teddy Vlasis, and Johnny Salta which from the sounds of it had a fantastic time. Great weather, great waves, great friends, great food …… we think you get the picture. The boys were taken care of by the locals and enjoyed two different skim contests while in country. The top results of the UST contest in Portugal were:
1) Sam Stinnett
2) Hugo Santos
3) Blair Conklin
4) Eduardo Joaquim
While Johnny returned home after Portugal, Morgan and Teddy flew directly to Philadelphia, hopped in the car for about for 7-8 hours and made there way to Kill Devil Hills, NC. Catching some quick rest, the guys got themselves ready for the Outter Banks Skim Contest run by Skim City. Battle after battle ensued and the final results of the OBX contest were:

2) Sam Stinnet
3) Dave Scott
4) Jason Wilson
5) Brad Domke
6) Tim Fulton
Teddy and Morgan remain 3rd and 4th on the UST respectively and had a fantastic time on their journey across the continent and across continents. Congratulations boys on representing Vic so well!
Bright and early this morning (5:00am on June 28, 2012), some of the Victoria Skimboards crew met up with KTLA’s Allie MacKay to discuss the Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding. Check out the clips of Morgan Just with Allie as they walk through the beach, the contest, and skimboarding in general.
Professional Vic rider Teddy Vlasis just recently got himself a GoPro video camera. He has been in the water a ton as of late trying to amass footage so keep your eyes peeled to the Victoria site for a Teddy video soon.
