August 2011 was a great month in Laguna Beach, CA. Waves, sunny days, and overall solid skimboarding to be had at a multitude of beaches across Laguna. The crew at Victoria Skimboards tapped into some of the sun/swell at Thalia Beach and we have brought it to life on video for you. Victoria Skimboards team rider, Mark Mills took first place in the senior mens event in Dewey Beach. Mark is down to fighting weight, running into foot deep water for his takeoffs, and riding a specialized full nosed, 1″ thick, flat rocker bomber with extra heavy, titanium reinforced internal flex amplifiers, and a single molecule of Chris Henderson. They didn’t stand a chance!

The UST will be making a stop in France this year thanks to the hard work of Hérve Ledoux and there is a billboard to prove it. 
Keep all eyes on the event as it has a floating date and location.

Recently a video was brought to our attention of a contest on Oahu at Sandys Beach that featured Chris Henderson. For those that do not know, Chris has long been a participant in the sport of skimboarding and is considered by many to be one of the best. Enjoy the video!
