Victoria Skimboards – WCS

The 2012 Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding is just around the corner and we would like to hear from you on a few different aspects of the contest.

First up is the debate on the number of waves that are counted toward a rider’s final score in an individual heat.  If you visit the Victoria Skimboards Facebook Page you can select your answer.

The Vic 2012

The crew at Victoria Skimboards are please to announce the dates of the 2012 Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding. Join us at Aliso Beach or watch the action from the comfort of your own home via the live internet feed the weekend of July 7 – 8, 2012. We are looking forward to rolling out some brand new things for 2012 so we hope to see you there.

WCS results update

In efforts to get to the results at the beach as quickly as possible, the staff at Victoria Skimboards made a computation error with the Professional Men’s results. After double and triple checking the scores, it seems that 6th and 7th place were mixed up. This means that Bill Bryan received a 6th place finish and Paulo Prietto a 7th place finish.

Victoria Skimboards apologizes for any confusion this may have caused and has made efforts to ensure that this does not happen again. Thank you for your understanding.
