Vic team rider Matthieu Thibaud boarded a plane headed for Japan last night. Our distributor Skim1 is graciously hosting Matthieu’s stay in Japan from September 12, 2012 through September 24, 2012. Osami and Takatoshi have quite a few things planned for Matthieu so stay tuned to the Victoria site and Matthieu’s Blog to see all of the fun and debauchery.

The first Matthieu Thibaud Pro Model for 2013 is in the hands of Matthieu himself just in time to take to Japan. Matthieu will be headed over to Japan to promote his new pro model along with other Victoria product from September 12 – 24, 2012. Yuto Kishida is from Japan and one of the top amateur skimboarders in the country. He has been riding a Victoria board through his sponsor Skim One for many years and Victoria Skimboards is pleased to announce his formal addition to the Victoria Skimboards Team. With his frequent trips to the United States and constant dedication to the sport of skimboarding, he will be a force to be reckoned with very soon. Keep your eyes out for Yuto as he blasts into 2012!
Victoria Skimboards was approached by Chris Walthall of healjapan.org regarding his efforts to help the victims of Japan and we were more than glad to help. By donating a board we are hoping that it will earn more than its value and that this will go directly to relief efforts in Japan.
