Victoria team riders find some fun at Thalia St. in Laguna Beach
August 2011 was a great month in Laguna Beach, CA. Waves, sunny days, and overall solid skimboarding to be had at a multitude of beaches across Laguna. The crew at Victoria Skimboards tapped into some of the sun/swell at Thalia Beach and we have brought it to life on video for you. Recently a video was brought to our attention of a contest on Oahu at Sandys Beach that featured Chris Henderson. For those that do not know, Chris has long been a participant in the sport of skimboarding and is considered by many to be one of the best. Enjoy the video!

Taylor Thompson and Jon Bunn
Congratulation to Victoria Skimboards team rider Taylor Thompson for his 1st place finish in the Semi-Pro division at the Outter Banks contest. Check out some footage of Taylor and Jon Bunn kicking off some fun at the Kitty Hawk Pier in North Carolina. Filmed and edited by Nick Baker, these guys just look to be having fun. Don’t you wish we were at the beach with them?
WCS results update
In efforts to get to the results at the beach as quickly as possible, the staff at Victoria Skimboards made a computation error with the Professional Men’s results. After double and triple checking the scores, it seems that 6th and 7th place were mixed up. This means that Bill Bryan received a 6th place finish and Paulo Prietto a 7th place finish.
Victoria Skimboards apologizes for any confusion this may have caused and has made efforts to ensure that this does not happen again. Thank you for your understanding.
