It is that time of year. The United Skimboard Tour is underway and two events are in the books. Right now it is anyone’s game and the biggest event of the season is fast approaching. On July 16 – 17, 2011 at Aliso Beach in Laguna Beach, CA you can find the best of the best competing at the Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding. To add to the hype, we have dropped a little video teaser for you. See you at the event!
Freeway closure during the Victoria WCS July 16-17, 2011
For those of you that will be traveling south on the 405 Freeway that live north of Los Angeles or in Los Angeles for the Victoria Skimboards World Championship of Skimboarding, please note the following:
“Public safety and transportation officials warn the public to avoid the 405 Freeway between Interstate 10 and the Highway 101 over the weekend of July 16-17 during its 53-hour closure. A 10-mile stretch of the freeway will be closed to demolish half of the Mulholland Bridge in the Sepulveda Pass in order to build a new, wider bridge and a car pool lane on the freeway.”
