Alohas out there. Today’s Great Idea Award goes to Jasmine Joy of SolShredSkim, who has proposed doing a beach cleanup after each days event at the Victoria Skimboards, World Championships of Skimboarding, June 19 and 20 at Aliso Beach. SolShredSkim, in conjunction with Victoria Skimboards, will host the pick up effort. Many hands make short work! Welakahau for Jaz! Way to show some love to Aliso Beach. She sure gets hammered by trash every summer weekend. This will show our visitors how to care for our beaches and be a great tradition going forward into the future.

The Victoria Skimboards Retail Store is now hiring. We are looking for someone with Retail experience to work our retail showroom from May 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010.

Victoria Skimboards team riders Brandon Rothe, Morgan Just, and Matthieu Thibaud have been in Mexico for the past week mixing it up with the locals. Everything from demos, to lessons, to contests have been set up by our Mexican Distributor X3M.

Scooter Hayes is one of the nicest people you will meet. Never known as one to be quiet, he can be found teaching at the top of his lungs on any given day of the week.

It is not always easy to get a child to appreciate the learning process but Scooter tries his best to make sure that learning and education remains something that is fun for kids. At this we feel he excels and we are proud to be associated with Scooter Hayes.

The Hawaiian Amateur Skimboard League contest season begins this weekend at Sandy’s Beach on Oahu. Victoria Skimboards is proud to be the presenting sponsor for this event as it reaches out to all levels of skimboarder’s and encourages them to ride.

New Jersey local and Victoria Skimboards team rider, Sean Stratton is in the house. Just making it out of Jersey before the airport got socked in with snow, Sean is out West for a little fun in the sun. No one told him that it has been rainy in California and maybe that is why we are getting the “don’t bother me now” finger.
