Most of the team riders are in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (or on their way) this week end for the first UST contest of the season. Also the Heads of Victoria Skimboards will be there.
I (Matthieu) am flying tomorrow morning for the third skim USA contest of the season in North Carolina. Friday night: “Lagunies” video premiere (Scooter Hayes’ video of his stay in Laguna Beach, CA)

Australia in effect!

Cabo Contest
Hey, it’s Jon Howell. I’m leaving Florida on the 14th and arrive in Mexico for the Cabo Classico. I’m super stoked and can’t wait for the trip. It’ll be my first visit to Mexico and not my last. We haven’t had many waves here in Naples for the past couple weeks. Some knee high swell so it’ll be nice to get some real waves…
Flatland
A quick post about the team guys and a Flatland board testing mission. Three of the team riders and one of the Victoria Skimboards employees did a little R&D yesterday for the Flatland Series of baords. Matthieu Thibaud, Brandon Rothe, and Matthew Bokor pulled Ryan Leeson away from the shop and decided to take on the easily 20′ “Battleship” rail using the Matrix and Grinder boards. All boards performed as expected (perfectly) and each rider pushed the other to go bigger, faster, and harder. Overall, a good day of R&D for all involved.
Morgan WON the Barcelona Contest, Spain.
Morgan Just placed 1st in Barcelona, Spain. Fair connditions, windy.
